Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register?

Our online registration portal is hosted through CCN Bikes. All financial transactions will take place through this site including route registration and donations made to A Place Called Home.

What hotel or motel options are available close by?

There are several hotel and motel options available to event participants. Our official hotel sponsor, Days Inn and Suites, offers preferred rates if you call them and tell them you are participating in our event.

Will I get a grab bag or event cycle cap?

The first 200 people to pre-register will receive the official event grab bag filled with items from our event sponsors. The first 300 registrants will receive our event cycling cap.

Where can I park for the event?

The primary event parking will be in front of the Lindsay Square Mall. Our event has been authorized to use space at their venue. Parking marshals will be present and we ask all participants to please follow their instructions.

What is the fee?

If you register by August 15th the fee is

Adults: $65; 16 and under: $35

Registering after the 15th the cost is:
Adults: $75; 16 and Under: $35

Participants will receive a tax receipt for a portion of their entry fee.


What do you mean by early registration

If we receive a paid registration by August 15th, 2017, you will pay a reduced entry fee. If you register after the 15th you'll pay the full amount for entry. This is our effort to encourage everyone to PRE-REGISTER (please, PRE-REGISTER)!

How do I register on event day?

Registration will be open at Boston Pizza located at 435 Kent St. West in Lindasy, beginning at 7 a.m.

What if I get hurt or I get too tired to finish?

There will be communication abilities at each refreshment stop – as well as food and water. If you need assistance or transportation, folks at the refreshment stops will be able to call for a van to fetch you back to the Boston Pizza. There are also sweep riders at the back of each route with first aid supplies for both you and your bike. If you are unable to continue just wait and help will be along. You might consider bringing along a cell phone as well. For a serious emergency call 911. Each rider will receive an event number and on the reverse side we will provide emergency contact numbers and information.

What time will lunch be served?
